As part of the Lahore Qalandars’ PSL trophy tour, CEO Atif Rana visited the US Embassy in Islamabad and met with Chargé d’Affaires Natalie A. Baker. The cordial meeting included members of the embassy’s cricket team, fans, and community members.
Atif Rana presented a signed team jersey to Natalie Baker, thanking her for her support. Baker, who attended two Lahore Qalandars matches this season—including the thrilling final—praised the team’s spirit and the electrifying crowd at Gaddafi Stadium. She said the passion for cricket reminded her of baseball’s energy in the U.S. and highlighted how both sports, now Olympic events, can strengthen international connections.

Rana appreciated the US Embassy’s growing interest in cricket, saying it’s heartening to see American friends embrace the game. He welcomed Baker into the Qalandars family with the team’s motto: “Once a Qalandar, always a Qalandar.”Lahore Qalandars have emerged as one of the most successful PSL franchises, winning the championship three times in the last four years, including consecutive titles in 2022 and 2023.
