David Warner has accepted responsibility in a drunk driving case.

His lawyer stated that the Australian cricketer admitted his behaviour was awkward and stupid. While adressing to reporters outside a court in Sydney, attorney Bobby Hill confirmed that Warner understands he made a serious mistake and will take accountability for it.

The lawyer revealed that Warner had used three alcoholic drinks before driving. The batter did not attend the court hearing, while the case is scheduled for another hearing next month.

Last month, during the Pakistan Super League, Warner spent some time in Sydney, where authorities charged him for driving under the effect.
