PCB announced the President’s Trophy Grade II Gold Tournament will start Tuesday in four cities.

The competition, scheduled from May 12 to June 21, will include 45 three day non first class games.

The tournament structure has been split into Gold and Silver categories. Fourteen departmental sides will compete in the Gold tier, while ten teams will take part in the Silver division, which begins on May 18.

Teams reaching the final of the Gold category will qualify for the President’s Trophy Grade I First Class and President’s Cup One Day competitions.

Pool A fixtures will be staged in Haripur, Abbottabad, and Islamabad, while Pool B matches will be played in Rawalpindi and Islamabad.

The champions of the Grade II Gold Tournament will be awarded 5 million rupees, while the runners up side will receive 2.5 million rupees.
