The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has confirmed that the South Africa Women’s Under-19 cricket team will visit Pakistan for the first time in history to play a five-match T20 series against Pakistan Women’s Under-19 team.
The series will be held at Karachi’s National Bank Stadium from July 14 to July 24. The visiting team is scheduled to arrive on July 10 and will undergo a three-day training camp from July 11 to July 13 before the competition begins.
The opening match will take place on July 14, followed by fixtures on July 17, 19, 22, and 24. Match timings will be announced by the PCB at a later date.
The tour is expected to play a crucial role in Pakistan’s preparations for the upcoming ACC Women’s Under-19 T20 Asia Cup and the ICC Women’s Under-19 T20 World Cup next year. Pakistan’s U-19 women last featured in a bilateral T20 series against Bangladesh, which they won 3–2.
The PCB recently also conducted specialized training camps in Karachi as part of its ongoing development program for young female cricketers.
