Out-of-favor Pakistani all-rounder Khushdil Shah has officially put an end to circulating rumors suggesting that he is stepping away from Pakistan cricket. Despite being absent from the national squad for an extended period, the dynamic player firmly denied the speculation, reaffirming his commitment to his career in the country.
Having made his international debut for the Green Shirts in November 2019, Khushdil has represented Pakistan in 15 One-Day Internationals (ODIs) and 38 T20 Internationals. His most recent appearance for the national side came during last year’s ACC Men’s T20 Asia Cup.
While he has been overlooked by selectors in recent series, Khushdil’s prompt dismissal of the retirement rumors signals his clear intent to reclaim his spot and make a strong comeback for the national team.
