The National Cyber Crime Investigation Agency (NCCIA) is currently carrying out forensic and technical examinations on the mobile devices of Pakistan cricketers Mohammad Rizwan and Imam-ul-Haq as part of an expanding probe.

According to sources familiar with the matter, the agency’s primary focus centers on financial dealings and suspicious transactions conducted both prior to and following the national team’s recent England tour. Investigators are actively scrutinizing the bank accounts of both players to identify any questionable incoming transfers from external companies, entities, or individuals. The digital data retrieved from the cricketers’ mobile phones is being systematically cross-referenced against these banking and transaction records.

In addition to financial scrutiny, the investigation is examining alleged dressing room information leaks that reportedly surfaced during the England series. Both Rizwan and Imam appeared before the NCCIA at its Lahore headquarters yesterday to cooperate with the inquiry. The agency has clarified that, as of now, no formal charges or findings have been officially confirmed against either player.
