Following tensions between India and Pakistan, several Australian cricketers are reportedly uneasy about returning to the IPL. According to media reports, Cricket Australia has left the decision up to individual players, citing security concerns during the tournament.
The IPL, set to resume on May 17, was earlier suspended due to safety issues raised by foreign players. Cricket Australia stated it’s in touch with the BCCI regarding safety protocols and will respect whatever choice its players make. Meanwhile, David Warner, captain of Karachi Kings, confirmed he’s ready to return to Pakistan once the PSL resumes.
