The specifics of the National Cyber Crime Investigation Agency (NCCIA) questionnaire handed to senior Pakistan wicketkeeper-batter Mohammad Rizwan have emerged after being submitted to the Lahore High Court by the Assistant Attorney General.
The extensive five-page questionnaire requires a deep dive into the cricketer’s digital footprint and financial history. Notably, investigators have demanded comprehensive details of all social media accounts operated by Rizwan over the past 10 years.
In addition to digital records, the agency is probing five years of personal finances. The questionnaire mandates full disclosure regarding his verified sources of salary, rental income properties, and the precise profits earned from bank deposits.
The development comes shortly after the Lahore High Court, presided over by Chief Justice Aalia Neelum, dismissed Rizwan’s petition challenging the NCCIA’s summons and jurisdiction, in which his legal counsel, Advocate Qazi Umair Ali, had argued that the cricketer was being subjected to an unwarranted inquiry without specified allegations.
