Give me Rs 10 million or I will kill you’, Mohammed Shami receives death threat

Indian fast bowler Mohammed Shami has received a serious threat from someone demanding ₹10 million (1 crore rupees) or they will harm him. As reported by Indian media, Shami’s brother, Haseeb, filed a police complaint in Amroha, Uttar Pradesh. The complaint says that a man named Rajput Sundar sent Shami an email asking for the money and threatening to kill him if he didn’t pay. Police have now started investigating the case. Currently, Shami is playing for Sunrisers Hyderabad in the Indian Premier League (IPL).
