Wicketkeeper-batter Mohammad Rizwan has decided to escalate his legal and administrative battle by writing another formal letter to the National Cyber Crime Investigation Agency (NCCIA), demanding explicit written details regarding the allegations leveled against him.
Sources close to the cricketer revealed that Rizwan’s latest communication will explicitly question the agency regarding rumors of non-cooperation. Legal representatives maintain that the former captain has fully cooperated from day one, having promptly handed over his iPhone password during his initial appearance. Despite this, Rizwan has yet to receive any formal, written notice or official intimation detailing claims of non-compliance.
The controversy stems from an ongoing investigation targeting Rizwan and opening batsman Imam-ul-Haq following their abrupt recall from the Test tour of England. While investigative focus centers around alleged financial transactions linked to online platforms, Rizwan continues to push for transparency, insisting on formal clarity over why he is being subjected to these proceedings.
