Dubai: The International Cricket Council (ICC) has announced the updated team rankings for 2025. In the latest list, Sri Lanka has overtaken Pakistan in all three formats — Test, ODI, and T20.
Pakistan has now fallen to 7th place in Tests, 5th in ODIs, and 8th in T20s.
In the Test rankings, Australia remains at the top with 126 rating points, but their lead has narrowed to just 13 points. England made a strong comeback and is now in 2nd place, followed by South Africa in 3rd and India in 4th. New Zealand is 5th, Sri Lanka 6th, and Pakistan 7th.
In ODIs, India strengthened their top spot with 124 points after winning the Champions Trophy. New Zealand climbed to 2nd, Australia is 3rd, Sri Lanka is now 4th, and Pakistan stayed in 5th.
In the T20 format, India kept their No.1 ranking, with Australia in 2nd. Sri Lanka moved up to 7th place, while Pakistan dropped to 8th.
