Pakistan Cricket Board’s big decision, several officials suddenly dismissed

The Pakistan Cricket Board has dismissed all officials of the regional and zonal cricket associations, including the President of the Islamabad Regional Cricket Association, Shakeel Sheikh.The PCB declared the elections of all zonal cricket associations in Islamabad null and void, while the election of the Regional Cricket Association Islamabad was also declared null and void.The PCB has ordered all elected officials to immediately resign from their offices. The elections scheduled for March 2023 were declared invalid, a decision made in light of the Independent Adjudicator’s decision of May 27.The PCB has directed the immediate closure of all affairs of the Zonal and Regional Associations in Islamabad. The notification was issued by Director Domestic Cricket Abdullah Khurram Niazi.
