The Pakistan national Test squad has officially departed from Islamabad International Airport, embarking on their highly anticipated tour of the West Indies. The team is traveling via Doha and London to reach their destination.
According to the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), the tour itinerary includes matches in Port of Spain, Trinidad and Tobago, and Tobago. The squad will kick off their preparations with a four-day practice match scheduled from July 18 to July 21, allowing players to acclimatize to local conditions.
The highlight of the tour will be the two-match Test series against the West Indies, which is part of the ICC World Test Championship cycle. The series is set to run from July 25 to August 10, with both sides looking to secure valuable championship points.
