The captains of the teams involved in the Pakistan Super League say that this is our own league and we should support it, the whole of Pakistan is waiting for the PSL all year round, whichever team wins in this tournament, Pakistan will win.
The captains of the six teams participating in Pakistan Super League (PSL) 10 held a joint press conference in Islamabad a day before the start of the event, in which they highlighted their respective plans for this important event.
Shaheen Shah Afridi:
(Lahore Qalandars) Lahore Qalandars captain Shaheen Shah Afridi said that this is our own league and we should support it. All the people who have come to cricket in the last 10 years are products of PSL.
Babar Azam (Peshawar Zalmi):
Peshawar Zalmi captain Babar Azam said that the PSL is starting tomorrow and all the teams involved in it are balanced, each team has included the best players. He said that we have formed the team keeping in mind the venue and its conditions.
Muhammad Rizwan (Multan Sultans):
Multan Sultans captain Muhammad Rizwan said in a press conference that everyone in Pakistan loves cricket, if our results are not right then it is their right to criticize, we have never cared about the results, the results are in the hands of Allah, we can try, the rest is Allah’s will whether he gives us victory or gives us an opportunity to learn.
Shadab Khan (Islamabad United):
Islamabad United captain Shadab Khan, while speaking on the occasion, said that whenever we play in Rawalpindi, we are very excited, this is our home ground, when we started here, it was not such a good start because at that time we did not know how to play in the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium.
Hassan Ali (Karachi Kings):
Representing Karachi Kings, Hassan Ali said that we have made some changes in the team this time. In Pakistan, teams that play powerplay well have a higher chance of winning, so we have changed the batting line-up.
Saud Shakeel (Quetta Gladiators):
Quetta Gladiators captain Saud Shakeel, while speaking at a press conference, said that sometimes your players are not available and sometimes when the event starts, someone gets injured, all these things affect your performance. He says that this year he has tried to correct the mistakes of last year.
