An Indian drone reportedly struck a shop near Rawalpindi’s Food Street, close to the PSL stadium. One person was injured and taken to the hospital, while the drone, which hit a tree before crashing, caused damage to the shop’s windows. Police and security forces quickly secured the area and launched an investigation.

Earlier, the Pakistan Army confirmed that 12 Indian drones were shot down in major cities including Lahore, Karachi, Rawalpindi, and Mianwali. Several soldiers were injured in Lahore, and a civilian was killed in Sindh. In response, Pakistan carried out strong retaliatory action along the Line of Control.

Due to the drone incident, today’s Pakistan Super League match between Peshawar Zalmi and Karachi Kings in Rawalpindi has been postponed for security reasons.
