The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) has appointed former Australian pacer Shaun Tait as the national team’s fast bowling coach until November 2027. He replaces ex-New Zealand bowler Shane Adams, who stepped down early from his contract by mutual consent.
Tait expressed excitement over working with Bangladesh’s young fast bowlers and aims to deliver winning results. He brings past coaching experience from leagues like the PSL and BPL. Tait had previously shown interest in the role but withdrew before final selection.
