Younis Khan Urges Caution Over Mohammad Rizwan NCCIA Inquiry Until Verdict

Former Pakistan captain Younis Khan has called for restraint in public discussions surrounding the National Cyber Crime Investigation Agency (NCCIA) inquiry into wicketkeeper-batter Mohammad Rizwan, advising stakeholders to await the official verdict before passing judgment.

Speaking on Geo News’ sports show “Score,” Younis expressed professional solidarity with Rizwan as a fellow international cricketer while reiterating that no individual player is bigger than the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB). Describing the NCCIA as a credible investigating authority, Younis advised Rizwan to respect and follow the official legal process, pointing out that outsiders do not possess the case’s full facts. He stressed that because the episode unfolded during an official national tour, commentary should remain measured until the investigation concludes, noting that he had navigated a comparable ordeal during his own playing career that took four months to resolve.
