Karachi: Bangladesh are trying to regenerate their impressive 2024 performance against Pakistan as they prepare for a new Test series in Dhaka. The Tigers last appeared in Test cricket against Ireland in November, winning the series 2-0.
The Bangladeshi side had stunned Pakistan in 2024 by defeating them 2-0 in their own backyard. Captain Najmul Hossain Shanto believes repeating the same level of preparation could help the team achieve another rememorable result.
According to Shanto, Bangladesh’s discipline and planning were the biggest strengths during the Pakistan tour, especially the unforgettable comeback in the Rawalpindi Test. He said intense preparation in the coming days could once again put the team in a strong position to win the series.
