Saud Shakeel failed to make an impact, while captain Shan Masood played a fighting knock of 71 before getting dismissed with the score at 162.
A crucial partnership between Salman Ali Agha and Rizwan revived Pakistan’s chances, taking the total close to 300. Salman contributed an important 71 before Hasan Ali became the last wicket to fall on the day without opening his account.
Bangladesh bowlers Nahid Rana and Taijul Islam picked up two wickets apiece, while Mehidy Hasan Miraz added one.
Pakistan had earlier managed 232 in their first innings, while Bangladesh posted 278 and 390 across their two innings.
