India Announces 15-Player Squad for England ODI Series
India has officially announced its 15-player squad for the upcoming ODI series against England. Rising star Shubman Gill will captain the side, while Shreyas Iyer has been named as vice-captain. Senior players Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli have retained their places in the squad.
For wicketkeeping duties, selectors have chosen KL Rahul and Ishan Kishan. The all-rounder department includes Washington Sundar, Axar Patel, and Nitish Kumar Reddy.
The pace and spin attack will feature Jasprit Bumrah, Kuldeep Yadav, Prasidh Krishna, Harshit Rana, Arshdeep Singh, and Gurnoor Brar.
Virat Kohli, who missed the Afghanistan series due to a hamstring injury, returns to the squad. Meanwhile, Hardik Pandya has been left out because of fitness issues, and Yashasvi Jaiswal has been dropped.
India and England are scheduled to play a three-match ODI series in England on July 14, 16, and 19.
