Following the recent ceasefire between India and Pakistan, the chances of the Bangladesh cricket team touring Pakistan have increased. The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) has given approval for the tour. A five-match T20 series is planned to take place in Faisalabad from May 25 to June 3.
Before arriving in Pakistan, Bangladesh will play two T20 games against the UAE on May 17 and 19 at Sharjah Cricket Stadium.
Earlier, the BCB had stated that talks were ongoing about the tour and that the safety of players and staff would be the top concern. All decisions would be based on the situation in Pakistan at the time.

Sources reveal that the tour was put on hold earlier due to the suspension of both the IPL and PSL amid rising border tensions.
The BCB officials recently met at Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium and discussed the matter after reviewing the current conditions.
Meanwhile, a PCB spokesperson confirmed that both boards are in contact, and a final decision will depend on how the situation develops after the ceasefire.
