Starting day two at 21 without loss, Pakistan suffered early setbacks as both openers were dismissed cheaply. Shan Masood scored 21, while Saud Shakeel contributed 8 runs before getting out.
Babar Azam stood out with a fighting innings of 68 runs, but regular wickets kept Pakistan under pressure. Salman Ali Agha made 21, Mohammad Rizwan added 13, and Hasan Ali scored 16. Lower-order batter Sajid Khan provided late resistance with a rapid 38 off 28 balls before Pakistan were eventually bowled out.
Bangladesh bowlers Nahid Rana and Taijul Islam led the attack with three wickets each, while Taskin Ahmed and Mehidy Hasan Miraz claimed two wickets apiece.
Earlier, Bangladesh posted 278 runs in their first innings thanks to a superb century by Litton Das, who scored 126. Pakistan’s bowling effort was led by Khurram Shahzad with four wickets, while Mohammad Abbas took three.
