India has restricted access to the social media pages of Lahore Qalandars, one of the top teams in the Pakistan Super League (PSL). According to the franchise, their Facebook and Instagram accounts are no longer visible in India, though no official reason has been provided. Lahore Qalandars, a former PSL champion, has a large global following with over 264 million views across their platforms. This move comes shortly after a terror incident in Pahalgam, after which the Indian government took strict digital actions. Following this, Indian sports app Fancode also stopped streaming PSL matches and removed related content. In response, Pakistan sent back Indian broadcasters involved in covering the tournament.
