Former Pakistan captain Shahid Afridi said India is trying to scare Pakistan, but it can’t match the strength of the Pakistani army. In a recent interview, he said Pakistan has faced many conflicts and its army is well-prepared. Afridi also rejected claims of supporting terrorism, saying Pakistan and Islam both stand for peace. He had earlier criticized the Indian government over the Pahalgam incident, after which Indian cricketer Shikhar Dhawan reacted strongly.

In reply, Afridi posted a photo wearing a military-style shirt and offered tea to Dhawan in a sarcastic post. Tensions have risen between the two countries after the killing of Indian tourists in Kashmir, and Pakistan has responded by suspending the Indus Waters Treaty.
