In a historic milestone for Pakistan cricket, Fatima Sana, captain of Pakistan Women’s team, has signed with England’s prestigious The Hundred league.

She has been drafted by Birmingham Phoenix as a replacement for Australian player Lucy Hamilton, making history as the first-ever Pakistani woman cricketer to feature in The Hundred.

Fatima is set to earn at least £15,000, although her participation could be limited due to Pakistan’s upcoming Sri Lanka tour scheduled from July 23 to August 4.
