Usman Wazeer, Pakistan’s rising boxing star, defeated India’s S Eswaran by technical knockout (TKO) in the first round at Bangkok’s World Siam Stadium on Thursday. This win, in his 16th professional fight, keeps his unbeaten record at 16-0.
Wazeer quickly dominated, landing powerful blows that knocked Eswaran down twice before the referee stopped the fight. Known as the “Asian Boy,” Wazeer has earned titles like the World Youth, Asian, and Middle East Titles, bringing pride to Pakistan and his home region, Gilgit-Baltistan.
After the victory, Wazeer expressed gratitude and called for peace, urging fans to let sports unite, not divide.
