The Indian government has blocked Shoaib Akhtar’s YouTube channel following the deadly Pahalgam terrorist attack. The former Pakistani cricketer’s channel was restricted on Monday, April 28, in response to the violence that claimed the lives of 26 people in the Kashmir valley. Along with Akhtar’s channel, several major Pakistani news channels, including Dawn News, Samaa TV, ARY News, Bol News, Raftar, Geo News, and Suno News, were also banned. These platforms collectively have around 63 million subscribers.

However, Indian viewers have reportedly been using VPNs to access Shoaib Akhtar’s content despite the block. In addition, many Indian fans have been commenting on Akhtar’s videos, expressing their support and admiration, even though the channel is officially blocked in India.
